> Sheila "she she" Duncan, 41, of New Orleans, Louisiana, passed away on March 18, 2025, after a 7-year battle with chronic heart failure.

> Sheila was born on January 22, 1984, to Gail Marie Register and Cornell Joseph Jr. in New Orleans, Louisiana. After graduating from McDonough 35 in 2002, she studied in New Orleans at UNO. In 2008, she met Damon Martin, and they wed in 2002, going on to have 4 children, Dhymond Martin, Paris Bob, Alicia Duncan, and Damoni Martin. When Sheila had her first child, Paris Bob, she dedicated her life to being a fantastic mother. Sheila excelled at propping up her 7 sisters, Shawnee Duncan, Trenay Duncan, Cornelia Duncan, Latasha Duncan, Bridgette Duncan, Kiesha Duncan, and Paquita Duncan, and supporting them through their passions and difficulties. Whether that was Damon Martin through emotions or Dhymond Martin through her thoughts and actions, she made it her mission to improve the lives of others.  Sheila was a passionate singer and joker, and when she wasn’t filling her home with warmth and kindness, she could be found on the side of her bed practicing reading braille books. We will miss her greatly.  Sheila was predeceased by Gail Duncan, Alicia Duncan, and Damoni Martin. She is survived by Damon Martin, Paris Bob, and Dhymond Martin.
