I met Shelia in Church, we had just moved to the area and I had no family close by & my girls were both younger at that time. Shelia became a friend and family to me, my girls absolutely loved her. I was struggling with moving away for the first time in my life - she stepped in and was there for me, and I will never forget that. She was so thoughtful, genuinely one of the sweetest souls I have ever met. I still carry the card she gave me when we moved away in my Bible and it will always stay there.
I met Shelia back in the mid 80s and we worked together at Union Planters Bank. We became good friends from the very start and carried that friendship throughout the years. Shelia was the reason that I had turned back to the Lord and begin my walk again with him. We shared many wonderful times and struggles together. She will be missed beyond words.. She was one in a million for sure! Heaven has a true angel in every sense of the word!
I am so sorry to hear the news. When my kids were babies, I knew they were in great hands in the nursery with Ms. Shelia. She just loved on all our kiddos and always had the friendliest, warmest smile. She will be deeply missed. Praying for the family. ❤️
Shelia, you are one of my best friends. I remember when you called me once you got better from the last illness. That was a GLORIOUS day!! The best news ever!! I am so sad it happened again. I miss you so much.
We had so much fun and laughs and I will be forever grateful for our time together before you became ill again. Our trip to celebrate Linda’s birthday, our trip to kayaking and also to the beach. Thank you Lord for these wonderful memories. I find great comfort in knowing I will get to see you again!!
I am so sorry to hear about Shelia. I’ve known her since Jr. High School. We talked several times about you boys and her trips abroad. She was a beautiful person and loved by many. Healed, she is and safe in the arms of our Lord. God bless each of you.
My condolences to Shelia's family. I first met Shelia when we attended Second Baptist Church, Warner Robins, and sang in the Youth Choir, going on choir trips, and retreats. I still cannot believe you are gone my sweet Sheila. You are greatly missed. Give your mom and dad a big hug for me. Also, if you see my parents, tell them how much I miss them and give them a hug as well. Until Christ returns for His bride (the church) rest in peace.
