Sheila Ann Vargas fell asleep in death on Thursday, June 7, 2018 in Tomball, Texas at the age of 55. Sheila was born on May 5, 1963 in Fort Worth, Texas to Mike and Nina Vargas. Sheila was the oldest of five children born and lived in Houston, Texas for most of her life.
Sheila had a love for blues and rock music, antiques, various crafts, pets and cooking. She also found comfort in the companionship of family and friends. Sheila and her mother, Nina, were very close. Sheila was a light hearted person and enjoyed a good laugh. She was also was good at making others laugh. Sheila enjoyed making salsa, caring for her plants and spending time with her children, Anthony Eggert and Nina Taylor, and her grandsons, Logan and Terrell Taylor. Sheila was a compassionate person and in her spare time, would volunteer to teach jewelry making at the Tomball Pines community center.
Sheila is survived by her parents, Mike and Nina Vargas, her children, Anthony Eggert and Nina Taylor, her grandsons Logan and Terrell Taylor, her siblings Michelle Vargas, Miguel Vargas, III, Enrique Vargas, Luis Vargas, many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Sheila was loved by many and will be missed by a host of other family members and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. on Friday, June 15, 2018 at 2500 Frick Rd, Houston, TX 77038.
