Sheila's obituary
Sheila was born on May 1, 1958 to Leonard and Delorise Chancey in Tampa. After many years of doing laborious jobs, she decided to study and take courses to be a teacher. She absolutely loved children and they loved her as well. Sheila had a special way with children. She would sing and play so joyfully, easily entering the hearts of many. She was very fondly called Ms. Sheila for many years. She continued being a teacher for younger children until her health wouldn't allow her to do so anymore. She was a caring and loving Mother and Granny. She was selfless and would do everything she could for her family. Through everything, she loved the Lord and showed everyone a wonderful example of being a true Christian. Even in her moments of pain, she would praise and thank the Lord. Sheila shown people kindness, forgiveness and empathy daily. There won't be a single day that she is not missed. She is survived by her three children Charles Altman, Chad Altman, Crystal Shockey; nine grandchildren James, Faith, Cameron, Grace, Katelynn, Eris, Aden, Phoenix, Phoebe and two great-grandchildren Payton and Jaxdon. There will be a small funeral service at 11 a.m. on 11-12-2021 at Keen Cemetery Road, Duette, FL 34219.
