I just wanted to offer my sincere condolences to Sheila’s family. I was absolutely heartbroken to hear of her passing.  I had the honor of working with her at IQVIA.  She was not only a mentor, but a true friend.  Despite being virtual co-workers, I often accompanied her to visits for training purposes (she was the best teacher).  We were even able to meet for dinner here in Baltimore on a separate occasion.

She was such a sweet and caring person, and we stayed in touch.

I will miss her greatly :(

Love and prayers,

Jennifer Bennett

Dearest family of Sheila's,

While we have never met, I wanted to let you know that your wife/mom was the most wonderful person. I had the pleasure of working with her at IQVIA and we stayed in touch after she took on a new role as well. Sheila and I only knew each other virtually, but she invited me several times to visit the new place in Hilton Head. It sounded so magical! I'm so incredibly shocked and saddened by this great loss. Sheila was full of life and energy and it was clear she loved her work. She was the world's best mentor and invested so much time into young CRAs. Last thing I just want to mention is that she spoke so highly of her two beautiful children and wonderful husband. We never had a conversation without her telling me about someone's birthday or the latest trip to Baltimore. My very sincere sympathy to each of you.

My condolences to Sheila's family. I first met Sheila when she moved into Wexford community. We became friends and spent time at activities and our love of the sun and pool. Moving to the beach was what she always wanted. I missed her when she left. We would try and get together whenever she was back in Kernersville. I am going to miss you my friend. My heart hurts that you were taken from us all too soon.
d Hi Andy and family,  Andy, I'm a cousin of your Mom.  I'm sorry for your loss of Sheila. I never knew Sheila, but my father, Emil Platek, was very fond of Sheila. She was very kind to my Dad at family events. And he was so happy to receive your annual Christmas cards, courtesy of Sheila. He was always touched by her thoughtfulness. May the Lord Bless you and your family.  Cousin Gary Platek

Andy, Maddison & Parker, I just heard about Sheila’s passing & I am just heartbroken. I will always cherish my memories of our friendship in Walnut Ridge Estates, my walking partner & good friend.  Many prayers for you all. Brenda Livingston
I was so shocked  to hear about Sheila's passing. We met  when our oldest (Maddison & Delaney) were in a playgroup as babies .She was so full of energy and  such a bright light. We enjoyed weekly playgroups until the kids all went to kindergarten and beyond. Her faith, humor, laughter, love for her family, organizational skills, ability to accomplish anything she set her mind to and optimism will be greatly missed. She would want us to remember the good times and celebrate her! So grateful I was able to know her and her family.  I am so so heartbroken.
My condolences to Sheila's family and friends. I worked with Sheila on a clinical trial and she always brightened the environment with her positive attitude and teamwork. Though I did not get to meet her in person, her kindness and great character was evident through her work and words. She will be greatly missed.

I am so very sorry to hear of Sheila's sudden passing.  We will miss her enthusiasm and energy at Pure Barre.  She was a wonderful woman.

Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. Matthew 5:4 KJV

I’m so sorry to hear this news. Prayers 🙏
Sheila was a force of nature!, From her vast shoe collection to her organizational skills. She was a ball of fire and lived her life with so much passion for whatever she was focused on. She loved her family and was always so proud of her kids. I am sure she is enjoying a chat with Lisa Marie Presley about shoes and organizing a party already. She will be remembered for all the fun crazy times. God Bless.

There are no words. Sheila was a ray of light and happiness at the Pure Barre studio HHI!  We are devastated and send our prayers and love to all of you. She will be missed greatly.

Maddison and family- so sorry for you loss. There are no words. I choose to remember the good times and the interesting times- girls trips, work times, and broken leg times at my daughter's wedding. The first time I ever met her my first impression was  how in the world she walked in those 5 inch heels. She will be missed.

Andy, Maddison, and Parker,

My heart and prayers are with you all, as well as your entire family. Sheila was not only a co-worker, but a friend. I will never forget her bright infectious smile, her vibrant chatty personality, and the many many laughs we had while working together at Wake. We stayed in touch after we both left and ended up on the same career path, that brought us back together as coworkers this past December and I was so happy to be working with her again. She will truly be missed, as there is no one out there who can match her shining personality and kind soul. I know the love she had for her family was unmatched, and she was so, so proud of her kids.  Love to you all.
