Sheila was born on July 5, 1944, in Presque Isle, Maine. She moved to Florida as a teenager, where she attended beauty school and later met Frank. On September 17, 1966, she married William Cook (Frank) in St. Petersburg, Florida, and they spent many years together.

Sheila loved the beach—it reminded her of home—and she carried that love with her throughout her life. She was a homemaker and had a longtime interest in collecting antiques and dolls.

She is survived by her husband, William (Frank); her daughter, Laina Cook; her son, Shannon Cook; her niece, Darcy Sierra; and her grandchildren: Kieran Wilburn, Bree Castell, Rissa Cook, and Cody Cook. She was preceded in death by her sister, Sharon Davis.
