Sheila's obituary

Mrs. Sheila A (Gillogly) Bogulski, born August 22, 1943 in Buffalo, New York, to the late Mary and late Frank Gillogly, passed away at age 74 on March 6, 2018 in Arlington Heights, IL. Sheila graduated from Rosary Hill College, Amherst New York. She recently celebrated her 50th wedding anniversary with Vance Bogulski. She is also survived by her daughters Beth Bogulski and Nicole Jones; sons JB Bogulski and Brian Bogulski; grandchildren Francesca, Dillon and Gianna Jones; sister Peggy Papia and brother Michael Gillogly. Sister-in-Law Dolores Kuberka. Many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive. Sheila loved animals, horseback riding, seven pump chai lattes from Starbucks, her Apple Vacations crew and spending time with her grandchildren. She was incredibly brave and strong the many years she battled cancer. A special thanks to all who cared for Sheila during her illness, especially Dr. Kerstin Stenson who took care of her for the last 11 years and the hospice team at Journey. Thank you to friends and family who gave her unwavering love, strength and support, especially Lauri and Edie Firstenberg, Jess Sospirato and Michael Skurnick. Our memories and love for Sheila will live in our hearts forever. Friends and family members may attend the mass service on March 9th at 10:00 am at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 455 N Benton Street, Palatine, Illinois, 60067.
