Background
Sheena was a mother to 4 strong boys and a wife to a courages husband. She started the long hard fight in 2021 when she was first diagnosed with Covid-19. As the days went on we quickly realized how difficult this journey was going to be and counted every blessing. The journey included many bumps along the way- from seeing improvements one day to being on a ventilator the next. It was devastating to be one of those families but Sheena fought hard every day. She slowly recovered one small step a day with a mountain to climb. Over the last year Sheena showed great signs of recovery and a hopeful future for what was to come. Great signs quickly turned to caution signs as she became ill again this season and to many of our surprises she was called home on the afternoon of her youngest sons birthday after an unexpected episode in her home. The purpose of the fundraiser is to help fund the process of getting Sheena home to her family and the celebration of her life for all her loved ones.
