I am Shawn's oldest brother. Our funnest adventures were to drive up Walker Mt Road with 2 wheel drive trucks and go 4 wheeling. We would laugh our butts off when we would fail to climb embankments. Some times we woul we wouldsimply drive to the top and watch the stars and look at the lights in Grants Pass.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Shawn’s passing. He was not only a loyal friend over the years, but also a trusted brother in the trades. We shared countless hours working side by side- sweating through long days, swapping stories, solving problems, and taking pride in a job done right.
Shawn had a gift for his craft and a heart for his friends. He carried himself with honesty, grit, and humor- the kind of man you could count on both on the job and off it. I’ll miss his steady presence, his laugh and the way he could make even the hardest days lighter. The loss is heavy, but the memories of his friendship and workmanship will always remain.
With deepest sympathy,
Archie Tourney

I miss you so much. You will be in my thoughts forever little brother! I imagine you are being surrounded by family that has gone before you. Gramma, Grampa, Aunt Mary, Aunt Betty, Aunt Bonnie and our sweet niece Andrea. I bet Jesus invited you to play your drums in the Heavenly Band beside Keith Greene. I will see you again someday. My heart will be breaking until then. I love you so much!!!
