Shawn's obituary
Shawn Reine (Galloway) Fleming was born in San Bernardino, California on August 31, 1970 to William P. Galloway Jr. & Rebecca (McAdams) Galloway. She went home to be with her Lord Jesus in Copperas Cove, Texas on July 5, 2023.
Shawn grew up and attended school in San Bernardino, CA. She worked for the County of San Bernardino for many years before her retirement. Shawn moved to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, where she spent two wonderfully fun and relaxing years. She moved back to California to be with her son and daughter-in-law as they welcomed their son, Jackson. The four of them moved to Copperas Cove, TX . Even through the miles and the passing of time, Shawn remained close to her family, especially her best friend, her mother and her stepfather. Their daily conversations were a light in all of their lives.
Shawn adored being Jackson's Grammy, his babysitter and one of his very best friends! Shawn also loved her family, Jesus and music. Shawn had a spirit for adventure and that meant road trips to the oceans and mountains with her sister, Shelly, with the windows down, the wind in their hair, music up loud and always taking the backroads.
Shawn is survived by her mother and stepfather, Rebecca and Michael Fitzpatrick of South Carolina , her son and daughter-in-law, James (Bonnie) Wynn of Texas, brothers Kevin (Andrea) Galloway of Idaho and Paul Brill of California, her sister, Shelly (Todd) Moody of South Carolina and her grandson Jackson Wynn of Texas. Shawn is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her family, Shawn is survived by one of her truest friends in life, Twymus Fleming of California.
Shawn was predeceased by her father, William P. Galloway Jr. (California), sister, Toni Brill (South Carolina), paternal grandfather William P. Galloway Sr. and paternal grandmother Celia (Molina) Galloway - known by all as Sally, maternal grandmother Ada (Shelton) Angelo, grandfather Jack Angelo and great grandfather Millard Lee Shelton, all of California.
Shawn's family will gather for an intimate celebration of her life, in Anderson, SC.
