Shaun's obituary
Services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 24, 2021, at Shaffer Nichols Funeral Home Chapel in Crane, Texas.
Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, July 23, 2021, at Shaffer Nichols Funeral Home.
Shaun was born March 18, 1981, in Odessa, Texas to Raul and Twilah Edwards Sanchez.
He was a graduate of Crane High School Class of 1999.
Shaun loved music and appreciated all genre’s. He asked his parents for his first guitar at the age of 13 and was a self-taught guitar player. One of his favorite things was sitting on the porch playing some of his favorite songs or one he had written.
He loved big and had a heart of gold. He loved his two boys and was so proud of their accomplishments.
Shaun was a Christian and accepted Christ in 2006 when he was baptized by pastor Rick Allen of the Dorothea Church Of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his father Raul G. Sanchez, Jr., his paternal grandfather Raul R. Sanchez Sr., his Uncle Eddie Sanchez, and maternal grandparents Ed and Berniece Edwards.
He is survived by his sons Ike Sanchez of Houston, TX, Tyus Sanchez of Crane, Texas Mother, Twilah Sanchez Ward, Stepdad Buddy Ward, Brother, Daniel Sanchez, wife Ashley, Nephews and Niece Brayson, Blakely, and Beau all of Crane, TX, sister Melissa Ferguson and husband Mike Niece and Nephew Rylee and Tucker Ferguson all of Stephenville, TX, Stepsister Sunny Rodriguez and husband Chris Rodriguez, Stepbrother Joey Ward and wife Kourtney Lake Jackson, TX and Stepbrother Casey Ward of Colorado Springs, CO, Life Long Friend Gary Watson of Crane, TX, Paternal grandmother Manuela Sanchez of Crane, TX, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and a host of friends.
