Shaun William Brust was born on April 7, 1989 in Bakersfield California and went to be with the Lord on May 24, 2020. He dreamed of serving people through law enforcement or medical care, and longed for a day when he would find someone to marry and start a family of his own. Shaun was known for his sense of humor and his love of country music. He was a good singer and enjoyed playing the guitar. He also loved taking in and caring for stray animals. He loved making friends and family laugh, especially in times of hardship. He enjoyed going to the beach to walk in the sand and look at the ocean. He was a protector and often fought off people who bullied his sisters and friends. Shaun’s life may have ended too soon; however, he has made an impression on so many lives and is loved by his parents Michael and Linda Brust, by his older sister Ashley Wetterholm, his twin sister Shelley Foss, as well as his nephew Justin and nieces Lexie, Kenzie, and Zoey, and by so many friends as well.
