Sharyne's obituary

Sharyne Diane Alexander, 80, of Yucaipa, California, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 12, 2026, in Redlands, California.

Born on February 28, 1945, in Los Angeles, California, Sharyne was the beloved daughter of Sheffield and Myrtle Eggleston. She lived a life rooted in love, generosity, and connection, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew her. Through her actions and the way she cared for others, she was the perfect role model for us all on how to support one another and share life.

Sharyne was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, known for her warm spirit and caring heart. She found joy in cooking, singing, dancing, and performing, and she was always willing to help anyone in need. Her kindness, laughter, and presence brought comfort and joy to family and friends alike.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jerry Carl Alexander.

Sharyne is survived by her loving children: Jerry Carl Alexander Jr., Diane Crystal Bonds, Eric Sheffield Alexander, and Brian Keith Alexander; her cherished grandchildren; her sisters; and her beloved nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind many dear friends and extended loved ones, whose lives were enriched by her love, compassion, and joyful spirit.

A celebration of life service will be held at Riverside Faith Temple, 2355 Pennsylvania Avenue, Riverside, California 92507, at 2:30 PM, with a repass to follow.

Sharyne Diane Alexander will be deeply missed, but she leaves behind a legacy of love, joy, and treasured memories that will continue to live on through all who knew and loved her.

She danced through life with a loving heart,

Sharing laughter, warmth, and light.

Though she rests, her spirit stays,

In cherished memories, songs, and smiles.

Forever loved. Forever remembered.
