Sharyn's obituary
Sharyn Ann Frame, 77, of East Liverpool, Ohio, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2026 at Calcutta Health Care.
She was born on March 12, 1949, in East Liverpool, Ohio, the daughter of Doris and Harold Cook. Sharyn was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose life was rooted in love, kindness, and devotion to her family. She spent her years caring for others, both at home and in her career, retiring in 2021 after many years of teaching preschool at Head Start, where she helped shape the lives of countless children with patience, warmth, and a gentle spirit.
Sharyn truly never met a stranger. She had a rare gift for making people feel seen, heard, and welcome. Whether it was a lifelong friend or someone she had just met, she would greet them with the same kindness and conversation that made you feel like you had known her forever. Her heart was open to everyone, and her presence brought comfort, laughter, and light.
Her greatest joy in life was her family. She loved deeply and unconditionally, and nothing made her happier than being surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. They were the center of her world and her proudest legacy.
She is survived by her children, Starlyn Cianni (John), Michael Loy Jr.; her brother and sister-in-law, Ted and Debbie Cook; her grandchildren, Sunshine Burley (Ben), Bethany Cianni , Madison Loy, Michael Loy III Raegan Loy; her great-grandchildren, Drake Mercer, Joshua Burley-Decker, Braden Cianni, Braxton Willis, Jacob Burley, Miyah Bailey, Matthew Mercer, Camden Willis and Esamay Coil; and her soon-to-be great-great-granddaughter, Maverie Cianni.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Rick Frame, and her parents, Doris and Harold Cook.
Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we find comfort in knowing that Sharyn’s love will continue to live on in each of us—in the lessons she taught, the kindness she showed, and the memories we will cherish forever. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will never fade.
She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
