Sharon was born on June 12, 1939, to her parents Phil & Eldina. She had one older brother, Phillip Jr., and two younger, half-sisters, Bernice and Barbara. She was raised by her father and Rosalin, her stepmother. She only got to really know her birth mother, Eldina, as she grew older, but the two became very close.
