Sharon's obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sharon Lee Raupp, born on the 21st of February 1939, who left us peacefully on the 13th of July, 2025. Sharon was known for her soft-spoken nature, industrious spirit, loving heart, and fondness for entertaining. She expressed love and care in each facet of her life and will forever be remembered by those who were fortunate enough to have known her.
From the time she graduated until her retirement, Sharon worked in the same dental office. Her diligence and dedication was highly admired, marking one of her greatest accomplishments.
Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, William Raupp, with whom she shared almost 50 years of marriage. Also preceding her in death were her mother, Mary Ridsdale; step-father, Raymond Ridsdale; father, Ralph Shotwell; step-mother, Jane Shotwell; brother,Ralph Shotwell; brother, Raymond Shotwell; brother, Russell Shotwell; brother, Kenneth Ridsdale; brother, Butch Shotwell; brother, Michael Shotwell; brother, Patrick Shotwell; and sister, Sue Shotwell. All of whom she remembered fondly.
She is survived by her beloved children; her daughter, Laura Raupp, and her sons, Richard Raupp and William Raupp (Mary). Their lives are testament to her love and dedication as a mother. Her legacy also extends beyond her immediate family as she leaves behind many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Each of them embodies her spirit, ensuring that her memory will continue to live on in the generations to come. She is also survived by two brothers, Robert Shotwell (Judy) and Steve Shotwell (Debbie).
Sharon's departure has left an irreplaceable void in our hearts. However, we find solace in the memories of her love, the wisdom she imparted, and the legacy she leaves behind through her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Sharon lived a life full of love, replete with unforgettable moments, all of which we will forever cherish. Her memory will continue to be a beacon of love, guiding us through our own lives.
