Sharon’s parents met and fell in love in Germany towards the end of ww2, and I believed they married, came back to the USA, then returned soon back to Germany and that’s where Sharon was officially born. Still a US citizen, this made her legal status a gray area and they had a lot of hoops to jump through to get it straightened out. She attended Litchfield schools, travelled with friends, worked at the Torrington co., and most recently had her own businesses Sweet Treats and Keepsakes with lifelong friend Ronnie.

On January 18th, 2023, our Sister, Sharon passed away into God’s graces after a brief illness. A warrior throughout life, she was 76 years old. She is survived by many loving individuals, including her dedicated husband Felix “Phil” Zolla, his children Phil Jr & Gale Zolla, Wayne Zolla, Peter Zolla, loving brothers David & Susan Osborn, and Gary & Dale Osborn, several nephews, nieces, and grandchildren .
