Sharon's obituary

Sharon O’Hearn

February 11, 1950 – October 9, 2024

Sharon O’Hearn, 74, of Highlands Ranch, Colorado, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Westlake, Ohio, to Harry and Betty Lewis, Sharon graduated from Westlake High School in 1968 and spent many years in Berea, Ohio. She was a proud and dedicated employee of United Airlines for over three decades, fully embracing the travel opportunities her career afforded her.

On July 27, 1984, Sharon married the love of her life, Raymond O’Hearn, whom she met through work. Together, they built a joyful life filled with camping adventures, card games, and warm family gatherings.

Sharon was a woman of many passions. She found joy in crafting, especially cross-stitching and crocheting, and was a devoted Cleveland Browns fan. Above all, her heart belonged to her family. She cherished her role as a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 40 years, Raymond; her children Tony (Jena) Frangella and Stephanie (Christopher) Juenemann; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Betty Lewis; her siblings, Gary Lewis, Craig Lewis, and Christine Halko.

A private interment for immediate family will take place at the Lewis family gravesites at Sunset Memorial Park on June 10, 2025, at 11:00 a.m.

All are welcome to join in honoring Sharon’s life at a Celebration of Life gathering to be held immediately afterward, at 11:30 a.m., also at Sunset Memorial Park, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. We invite friends and extended family to remember Sharon’s vibrant spirit, generous heart, and the lasting impact she had on those who knew and loved her.
