It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Sharon "Joyce" Ogans. Known to many simply as Joyce, but preferring the name Sharon, she was a beloved figure in our community. Sharon transitioned from this life to the next on November 13, 2023.

Born on September 6, 1958, Sharon was a ray of light in the lives of everyone who knew her. She was characterized by her effervescence, her resilience and the inherent joy she carried with her, even in the face of adversity.

Throughout her life, Sharon defied expectations and constantly pushed the boundaries of what was possible for her, bringing a great deal of positivity and hope into the lives of those around her. She was a true maverick, inspiring those who knew her with her dedication and perseverance.

In the face of her passing, we remember not only her inspirational life but also her indomitable spirit. Her legacy will live on not only in the memory of her physical life but also in the impacts she left on the hearts of those who knew her.

Sharon's life will be celebrated with a service to honor her legacy and reflect on the many ways she touched the hearts and lives of those fortunate enough to know her. The loss felt in her absence is immeasurable, but so too is the love and joy she left behind. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

As we navigate through this time of grief, we extend our heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, and all who were touched by her spirit. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
