Background
My mother was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer in April of 2022. It took her quickly and my family was not prepared financially at all. We are at a loss as to how we are supposed to pay for her funeral and services. She didn't have insurance because she could not afford it. She was the type of person to help anyone who needed it, but would never ask for help for herself. She was the most selfless person I know. Our family never asks for help, but we are struggling to come up with enough money to pay for her funeral.
