Sharon's obituary
Sharon passed away Friday, May 8, 2020 at her home she shared with her loving husband in Kansas after an almost two-year battle with cervical cancer.
Sharon had an unbridled love of life and was a free spirit. She loved fantasy and nature. Sharon loved playing table-top and role-playing games since she was a child. It was not only a great form of entertainment for her but an escape from the stresses of everyday life so much so that role-playing was still her go-to for a stress release even throughout her battle with cancer. Her passion for games and fantasy was a connection Sharon shared with much of her family. She had a love and talent for art that she passed on to her children. Sharon was a strong woman not afraid to speak her mind or standup for her convictions.
On a spiritual level, Sharon was a confirmed Roman Catholic and practicing Wiccan. She had a close connection since childhood to Our Lady, Mary. Sharon cherished that relationship throughout her life which will give her family comfort in the coming days. Her and husband chose a handfasting ceremony as part of their wedding vows to signify that they are not only joined on this Earth but for eternity.
