Sharon L. Smith (Jodway), age 76, passed away March 28, 2023, in Arlington Heights, IL. She was born May 11, 1946, in Detroit, Michigan. She spent most of her life and raised her family in Michigan.  She moved to Illinois 9 years ago. Sharon was a loving and grateful woman who had a heart full of kindness and love. She enjoyed spending time crocheting, watching Hallmark movies, and most of all, being with her family. Sharon had a way of making everyone feel welcome and loved, no matter who they were. She will be greatly missed.



Sharon is survived by her loving daughters, Kimberlee Resnick (Jordan McCormick) and Kristen Sloan (Marty Sloan), and her cherished grandchildren, Jonathan Mann, Brandon Mann, Courtney Martin (Ricky Martin), Logan Resnick, and Delaney Resnick. She was also an adored great-grandmother to Rose, Aleiya, and Chandler. Sharon was a dear aunt, great aunt, and beloved friend to many.



Sharon was the youngest of eight children and was predeceased by all.  She is now reunited with her parents and adored brothers and cherished sisters who she loved so very much.
