Sharon was born on June 29, 1947 as the only child to Clyde and Geneva Starcher in Lawton, OK. She spent many years working in the medical industry, mostly as an EKG-EEG-PT technician, but she also served as a teacher's aide for many years. 

In 1972, she met the love of her life Arthur Kromer, and they wed on March 6, 1973. While they did not have children together, she had two children from a previous marriage; a daughter, the late Kimberly Dawn, and a son, Kevin Leroy. 

 After retiring in the early 90s, Sharon spent her time with her husband Arthur, serving the Lord, being a grandma, watching her soaps and drinking Dr. Pepper. 

Sharon was predeceased by her parents, Clyde and Geneva Starcher, and her daughter, Kimberly Dawn. She is survived by her husband, Arthur Kromer, her son, Kevin Barger, grandchildren Nikki, Megan, Kevin Jr., Cody, Geneva, Kashley, and many great-grandchildren.
