Sharon Grice (nee Senkpiel), 79, a faithful servant of the Lord, peacefully entered into the presence of heaven on Sunday, June 1 after a recent cancer diagnosis. Her family is grateful for God’s grace.

Sharon was born in Chicago to Florence and Walter Senkpiel and was the adored baby sister to Dotsie, LaVerne, Susie and Dickey. 

Sharon was married to the love of her life, the most amazing man, Bill Grice for 59 years (their 60th wedding anniversary would be in October 2025).

Sharon was the devoted mother of Shari Riddle (the late Don Riddle, Ted Manson), Missy Gillis, and Aly Rattin (Frank) and loving Nana to Mandy Rothamer (Matt), Ben Riddle, Wil Riddle, Bailey Gillis, Justin Rattin (Kalyn) and Lexi Rattin. She was the doting Great Grandmother of Ryan Rothamer, Justin Rattin Junior and Jack Rothamer.

She flourished best in cleanliness and order and was unwavering in her life's motto:

“I am not bossy, I have skills…LEADERSHIP SKILLS! Got it?”

Sharon adored her family and friends and treasured “get togethers”.

A celebration of Sharon's life will be held at the Oak Lawn Bible Church at 9435 S 54th Avenue, Oak Lawn, Illinois on Thursday, June 5. The family will welcome guests at 9:30 a.m., followed by a celebration of life at 11:00 a.m.
