Sheron Marie Duplichen passed on April 24, 2020 at 12: 55 am, due to cardiovascular disease . Sheron Marie Duplichen, age 77, always said , she lived a life well traveled and always surrounded by love. She passed away at home, surrounded by those who loved her. She is survived by her cousin Cherry Clay, her godchild, Renée Abdulghani, niece, Norma Robinson and Clay Bryan, nephew along with her two loving birds she considered her children, never being a parent herself : Sage and Ginger filled her life with joy . Also, With a special acknowledgement to Thisa Romero her faithful friend and neighbor who helped in her later days as she began her journey home to her beloved husband Clovis Roy Duplichen, who passed away in 1982. We say “ you will always be loved”. Sheron was a native of Albuquerque, NM and moved to Louisiana thirty-eight years ago after meeting Her husband. The both of them traveled all over the South , enjoying nature. She adored fishing and just admiring the simplicity of life .She loved artwork, sewing and needle point. She loved speaking to people about her love of God. She attested that her is the reason she lived to be seventy-seven years of age passed. Sheron wanted to send out a thankful heartfelt note to her godchild, Renee Abdulghani. You will always have my heart. I love you very much and I’ll see you soon, remember our memories.
Sheron said, she had wonderful memories of love and laughter and she couldn’t ask for anything greater in this life. She wanted a graveside burial with no tears and requested no flowers or plants. If you wanted to leave a gift behind, just show someone else an act of love on her behalf. A private, Memorial Mass will be held Sunday at 4:00 pm gravesite, April 26, 2020. We thank everyone for their faithful prayers in our hour of need.
