Sharleen Kilgore, 70, of Castle Rock, CO, passed away on November 10, 2022 after an unexpected passing caused by complications from pancreatitis.

Sharleen was born on May 11, 1952, to Leroy and Barbara Lumbard in Palo Alto, California. She grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, and got her degree from San Jose State University. In 1973, she met Robert Kilgore. Sharleen and Robert wed in 1975, going on to have 2 children, Brian and Jason. Sharleen dedicated her life to being a wonderful mother. She also had a career she was passionate about, as a director of the HUD Housing Counselor department at Project Sentinel (helping families with their housing mortgage concerns, including assisting with home buying and saving homes from foreclosure). Whether through supporting her family or the families she worked with, she made it her mission to improve the lives of others.

Sharleen especially loved becoming a grandmother to her 4 grandchildren. We will miss her greatly. She is survived by her mother (Barbara), her husband (Robert), her brother (Marvin), her children (Brian and Jason), and her grandchildren (Declan, Alvric, Ainsley, and Serenity).

The family requests that all flowers and notes are sent to 2392 Saddleback Dr. in Castle Rock, Colorado.
