Charlie's obituary
Sharla Jadud Obituary
Sharla Renee Jadud nee Fortner (Charlie or Chuck) was always the first to leave a gathering. It was never that she didn't love you, but she always seemed to have the good sense to bow out once the best parts of the party were over.
On Sunday, July 20, 2025, she quietly left the party and went home. She was surrounded by loving family and friends - All of whom she would have told to go home and stop making such a fuss. Sorry, Chuck.
She is survived by her husband Timothy; daughter Kaylah (Valentino); son Kyle (Melissa); granddaughter Kara. Additionally, she is survived by her mother Tamara, and her sisters Shawnna, Chrissy, and Bridget.
Born On September 25, 1971, Charlie spent her life in the greater Cleveland area. She worked...everywhere. She could fix things in your house or your car. Sometimes, if the situation called for it, she could fix a heart or a soul. Her profession was tending to the things that need tending to. If she didn't know how to do it, she'd learn, work hard, and do it honestly - just like her mother taught her.
She believed in being kind to the small and forgotten things, rehabbing and rescuing broken animals and broken people whenever she could. Do you have a trash panda who loves people in your backyard? Thank Charlie. It probably has a silly name, by the way. If it has beautiful blue eyes, tell Betty Davis my sister said to be good. And to the people she rescued - you all be good too.
She didn't believe in judging people. The shabby and the chic were all welcome with her. A kind and thoughtful heart was the price of admittance to her company, although a sense of humor and some sass could certainly buy you a day pass. Nothing could ever be terribly wrong if you could laugh about it.
So, laugh is what we are going to do. Her family invites anyone who wishes to attend a celebration of life at Columbia Park in Columbia Station on August 9th pavilion C from 12 p.m. - 3 p.m. Come as you are - in t-shirts and ripped jeans, and maybe, in a little need of rescue. Those were always her people.
