Shari's obituary

Shari Wildes went home to be with our Lord and Savior on April 20th, 2024. She was born on September 2, 1950 to Sylvia “Bonnie” and Bill. Shari was proud to be the oldest sister by just a few moments to her twin sister, Kathi. They grew up in a tiny town on the coast of Oregon called Gold Beach, along with their younger brother, Skip.

Shari married Dan in 1975. They enjoyed traveling and moved around quite a bit before they welcomed their three children, Jeremy, Jen, and Jeff. They raised their children in Savage, MN and once they had all graduated high school, they moved out to the country in Cannon Falls, MN, where they stayed for 15 years until retirement. They sold their home and spent many years traveling full time in their RV. They started spending their winters in Texas and made so many wonderful friends. Shari loved riding her motorcycle, quilting or doing anything creative, playing card games and pickle ball, but most of all, she loved being a mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and by her husband, Dan.

Shari is survived by her children, Jeremy (Shannon), Jen (Aaron), Jeff (Kerri); five grandchildren, Bonnie (Jeremy), Nolan, Austin (Jen), Ada, and James (Jeff); twin sister, Kathi (Marc); brother, Skip (Deb); her late husband’s siblings, Sue (Paul) and Jay (Tina); many nieces and nephews; and loving friends.

A memorial service will be held at 12 p.m. on Sunday, May 6, 2024 at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel, 3075 Vermillion Street, Hastings with visitation starting at 11 a.m. Following the service, there will be a time for fellowship to honor and remember Shari’s life.

Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel, Hastings is handling the arrangements.
