Shantera Nicole Frenna, 35, in Stockton, CA, passed away on December 29, 2023. She was born on July 22, 1988, in Lubbock, TX. Shantera was a remarkable woman who lived life on her own terms, fearlessly embracing her individuality and pursuing her passions.
Shantera's journey began in Lubbock, Texas, and she spent her formative years between the Bay Area of California and Carson City, Nevada. Shantera was an ambassador for the city of Reno. She also went to cosmetology school; and took phlebotomist courses as well. She was known for her unwavering determination and strong-willed nature, always forging ahead to create the reality she envisioned. Shantera had a deep spiritual connection and explored various avenues to connect with her higher self, including crystal work, card readings, and meditation. Her quest for self-discovery and growth was a significant part of her life.
A loving and devoted mother, Shantera cherished her two children, Sadie Mendoza and Emilio Mendoza, above all else. She took immense pride in their accomplishments. Shantera's artistic talents were evident in her beautiful artwork and knitting creations, showcasing her creative spirit and attention to detail.
Shantera will be deeply missed by her mother, Ingrid Frenna, her brothers William Haag and Matthew Haag, as well as her sisters Sasha Marshall, CaSondra Santos, Jessica Frenna, and Mikayla Frenna. She was preceded in death by her cousin, Megan Sullivan, birthing mother, Wendy Tierney, grandmother, Sylvia Tierney, grandfather Patrick Tierney.
Shantera attended Pioneer High School, where she laid the foundation for her future endeavors. Her love for dancing, knitting, painting, and cosmetology brought her joy and allowed her to express her creativity. These hobbies were a source of inspiration and relaxation for Shantera.
A celebration of Shantera's life will be held on January 27, 2024, from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Family and friends are invited to join in honoring her memory and sharing cherished moments at the service. Following the service, there will be an opportunity for everyone to gather, offering comfort and support to one another.
Shantera Nicole Frenna will forever be remembered for her indomitable spirit, artistic talents, and unwavering love for her family. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May her soul find eternal peace.
