It is with great sadness to announce Shannon "Shannie" Renee Saad passed away unexpectedly on October 12, 2022. She was born June 14, 1989 to Anwar and Wafa Saad. She grew up and went to school in Platte City, MO. She graduated from Platte County High School in May 2008. After high school, Shannon pursued many paths, including getting a certification as a CNA. 

Although she lived with an auto-immune disease her whole life, she loved with all her heart and dedicated her life to her family & friends & pets. She is survived by her fiance, Aaron; parents, Anwar & Wafa; brother, Andrew; sisters, Joanna (Mike), Angelina (Derek), Arianna; three nephews, Elias, Gabriel & Jacob. She is preceded in death by her grandfather & grandmother, Jamal & Miriam Saad; grandfather, Asa Salameh; Uncle, Nader Saad

Visitation is Monday, October 17, 2022 from 6 to 8pm at Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at 11am at Good Shepherd Catholic Church (lunch after the burial in the church basement). The church address is: 18601 N 169 Highway, Smithville, MO 64089. 

In lieu of flowers, the family asks you consider donating to the KC Pet Project in her memory. It is a cause that is near and dear to her heart as she loved to rescue animals.
