Shannon Marie Pierson

51 of Pembroke Massachusetts went to eternal rest on January 21st 2026. The eldest of 3 siblings she was loving, witty and very well versed in sarcasm. Her light will be missed but never extinguished.

The first child born to Randall S. Pierson and Virginia (McCormack) Pierson at Quincy Hospital on November 7th 1974. Shannon attended schools in Weymouth and Quincy before moving to Hanson in 1986 where she went on to attended Whitman Hanson Regional High school and graduated in 1992.

Shannon had a variety of jobs thru out the years. She spent some time at Weargurard in Norwell and also was employed at Cumberland Farm as a cashier for sometime. She spend quite a few years working as a Pharmacy Technician at a variety of Pharmacies but found her home at Duvals pharmacy in Whitman for many years. Most recently, Shannon worked as a cashier at Regal Marketplace in Whitman, where she was grateful for and deeply valued her wonderful work family.

Shannon started babysitting as a teen and this carried over into her adult years spending lots of time with her friends children. Shannon also had a nephew and a neice who were lucky enough to call her Auntie.

Shannon loved animals of every kind. She had a number of cats throughout her years and she leaves behind her Ralphie, an Ashen Orange Tiger whom she loved to snuggle with.

Shannon always took pride in her ho boxes such as baking and gardening.

Shannon’s memory will continuously live on through her family. She leaves behind her Mother, Virginia (Ginnie), sister Megan, Brother Scott, Nephew Avery and neice Esmè. As well as her Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and her closest friends and acquaintances.
