Shannon "Bub" Foliart, born on September 18, 1974, in California, passed away on March 28, 2025, in Fresno, California. His passing marks the loss of a cherished individual whose presence brought warmth and connection to those around them.

Shannon is lovingly remembered by his wife, Michelle Phillips-Foliart, who stood by his side through life’s many seasons. His legacy continues through his daughter Ashliegh Foliart and her spouse Paul Duran. Shannon took great joy in being a grandparent to Hunter, Harlan, Paityn, and Sawyer each one a bright light in his life.

They are also remembered with love by his sisters Stacy Foliart and her spouse JR Cabiero, and Sherri Benafield and her spouse Greg Benafield. Shannon held a special place in the hearts of his nieces and nephews—Ken and Korey and their children, as well as Carter and Caitlyn and Corinne- who will carry forward fond memories of time spent together.

Shannon was preceded in death by his parents, Joyce and Robert Foliart.

Known affectionately as “Bub,” Shannon found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He especially enjoyed relaxing afternoons watching NASCAR races—a pastime that brought both excitement and calm. But above all else, Shannon treasured time spent with family. Whether gathered for a casual afternoon or simply enjoying each other’s company, these moments were at the heart of what mattered most to them.
