Shannon was born on May 1, 1970 in Brunswick, ME to Frederick Helms and Constance Crystol. She received her high school diploma from Mt. Ararat High School in Topsham in 1989. She is survived by her partner Rick Brown, her children Kaleigh and Christian Colson, her step children Zechariah and Rebecca Brown, her brothers Joseph Cox and Scott Helms, her grandsons Parker Wheaton and Carson Brown, two nephews, several cousins, and many friends. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 29th, 2018 at Rogers Cemetery On Cathance Road in Topsham at 12pm.
