Please park in the parking lot for the UCD, if this lot fills, overflow parking is available nearby and guests will be guided there.

Guests are welcome to arrive the Celebration of Life starting at 10am to walk the beautiful grounds and trails (including a labyrinth) and possibly engage in a whimsical activity inspired by Shannon's sense of creativity and fun. Tea, cookies, and lemonade will be served inside prior to the start of the ceremony, where guests can watch a slideshow of photos, videos, and memories. The ceremony will begin at 11am in the Sanctuary inside the church. Lunch will be served following the ceremony from 12:30pm-2:30pm. For those unable to attend in person, we will be live streaming the celebration at https://zoom.us/j/97042608227, as well as recording it.

At 5pm (after the Celebration of Life ends around 2:30), all of Shannon’s family and friends are warmly invited to the reception starting at 5pm, hosted by friends of Shannon’s from UC Davis. We have rented out a private space on the outdoor patio of Sudwerk Restaurant & Brewery in Davis (2001 2nd Street, Davis, CA 95618). Sudwerk's is very kid friendly, has shade, outdoor misters, and a fire pit for us. Sudwerk’s is a lovely Davis spot where Shannon and Landon used to visit with friends. There will be appetizers provided, a cash bar, and many of us will be staying to eat dinner. Please come for the entire time 5-9pm or drop by anytime between 5-9pm – and feel free to stay for several hours or just drop by a few minutes. A slideshow will be playing with photos of Shannon+family/friends, and music will be playing with songs that Shannon loved to sing and dance to.
