Shannon Diane Albritton (née Cannon), beloved mother, wife, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, in Sebring, Florida. Born in Winter Garden, Florida, on September 24, 1960, Shannon was a free spirit who went wherever the wind carried her. Although she spent her lifetime traveling and making memories, Shannon’s roots in Minneola ran deep and true. Shannon loved spending time with animals, Judge Judy, and enjoying life to the fullest.

She is preceded in death by her husband and soulmate, George, with whom she now rests in eternal peace, and her brother Tim. She is survived by siblings Kelli Irish (Lawrence) and Dale Cannon (Kathy), her son, Casey Albritton (Katherine), her three grandchildren Kailey, Nola, and Bradley, and her great-granddaughter, Emelia. She has a wealth of cousins, nieces, and nephews who will miss her dearly.

Shannon will be remembered for her laughter, wit, family recipes, and insurmountable love she carried for her family and friends. She will be recognized in the bright colors of butterflies, which she adored as they reminded her of her mother. She will be felt in the balmy Florida breeze and heard in the hum of a Harley Davidson, and she will be carried in our hearts forever. It was an honor to know her and be loved by her.
