Shane B. Cowan, 52, was born October 22nd, 1971 in Mount Vernon, WA to Cooper and Sonja Cowan. He passed away January 17th, 2024 of natural causes at the family home in Mount Vernon. Shane was raised in the Mount Vernon area and graduated Mount Vernon High in 1990. He had many entrepreneurial endeavors and was an avid traveler.

Shane is preceded in death by his Mother, Sonja Cowan, and sister, Caroline Golding. He is survived by is daughter, Laven Phetteplace, and brother Michael Cowan.

He’s also survived by his niece, Amy Golding and nephew John Golding.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Whispering Firs Bed & Breakfast located at 19357 Kanako Lane Mount Vernon, WA 98274 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Friday, April, 5th, 2024.
