In Loving Memory of Shana Dixon

Shana Joleen Dixon, age 53, of New Orleans, LA, passed away on November 18, 2023. She was born on January 20, 1970, in Columbus, Mississippi, to the late Hubert and Jane Casey. Shana will be remembered as a cherished daughter, devoted mother, beloved sister, and adored grandmother “Mimi.”

Throughout her life, Shana exemplified a spirit of vivacity, compassion, and love. She possessed a vibrant personality that radiated warmth and brought joy to all those fortunate enough to know her. Shana's infectious laughter and captivating smile were a testament to her lively and bubbly nature. Her presence provided a sense of comfort and solace to those around her.

Shana leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She is survived by her daughters and their spouses, Stephanie and Claude Pardue, and Kaitlyn and Kris Green. Shana's greatest joy came from her role as a grandmother “Mimi” to Naomi, Somer, Claude III, and Lola Pardue, as well as Paxton, Lincoln, Vivian, and Remington Green. She also leaves behind her Stepmother Jeanette Casey, her sisters Tammy Addison and Sandy Morton and her brothers, Michael Casey and Neal Casey,

In her professional life, Shana had a wonderful career at Heidrick & Struggles, where she joined in 2005. She was an Executive Assistant and Project Administrator. Her colleagues enjoyed her lively spirit, professionalism, and dedication. Clients gushed to her boss of how great it was to work with Shana. She loved her job, her clients, and especially the close relationships she developed with so many of her colleagues.

In her free time, Shana enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. She loved to shop, play the slots, get a pedicure & take hot baths. She loved her cats as though they were her own kids. She loved to travel and explore places such as Grand Cayman with her daughters & Italy with friends. She cherished the many moments spent with her friends, daughters, and grandchildren.

A memorial service to celebrate Shana's life will be held on Sunday, November 26, at 2:00 pm at The Venue at Twin Oaks, located at 840 Hutcheson Rd, Bremen, GA 30110. During this occasion, family, friends, and loved ones will gather to pay their final respects and celebrate her beautiful life.

Shana's departure from this world has left a void that can never be filled. She will be deeply missed by all those whose lives she touched. May her soul find eternal peace.
