Shamika had the unique ability to spread joy, often making those around her roar with laughter. One of her life's philosophies was the importance of authenticity; she encouraged everyone in her life to always be true to themselves.

Shamika's dedication was evident in all areas of her life, including her academic pursuits. She graduated high school and went on to study fashion design in college, indicative of her creative flair and love for art. Shamika is survived by her mother, Valerie Jarmon, siblings, Lavar Jarmon, and Michael Jones, 4 nephews and 1 niece, Donnell Jones, Cain Jarmon, Spencer Jarmon, Maurice Jones, and Faith Jarmon, who cherished loving memories of her. The bond they shared was unique and strong, representing the family's close-knit ties and shared love.
