Seymour “Sy” Gordon passed away August 24, 2021, in Boca Raton, Florida at age 96. A native of Collingswood, NJ, he was trained as a Naval Aviator. After being discharged, he began his career as an entrepreneur by starting a Storm Window business. He eventually transitioned into Real Estate development and acquisition. The intellectually astute businessman had his sights set on the warmer climate of south Florida and moved his family from New Jersey to Miami, Florida. He continued to acquire commercial property throughout south Florida. In addition to his professional achievements, Seymour enjoyed traveling, playing golf, playing chess and backgammon, boxing, skiing, and most of all watching his family grow. He leaves his family and friends with fond memories of his charm, adventurous spirit, and always sound advice. Sy was the beloved husband of his late Wife, Pearl. He is survived by his children, Marty (wife Mallary) Gordon and Janis Grossman, grandchildren, Marc (Alyssa) Gordon, Michael (Amy) Gordon, Roni (Flynn) Turner, and Steven Grossman (Kylie Saunig), great-grandchildren Bradley and Riley Gordon, Skylar and Mason Turner, Noah Gordon Grossman, Kaylynn Gonzalez, and Ari Gordon, nephew, Bruce Klein and niece Goldie (Ken) Wetcher.
