Setlhare “Zina”'s obituary

Setlhare Welhelmina Manguba, affectionately known as Zina, was born on the 28th of December 1950 to Enoch & Rachel Mamabolo in Alexandra Township. After graduating from high school she went on to study Nursing and qualified as an Auxiliary Nurse. She then studied in Residential Child Care achieving her diploma (cum laude). She later became a Professional Nurse and continued her studies in Advanced Midwifery at the University of Northwest (Porchestroom Campus) and achieved her diploma again in cum laude. She still persisted with her studies in Primary Health Care at Baragwanath Hospital Nursing College where she qualified as a Professional Primary Health Care Nurse.

After retiring in 2015, Setlhare continued working on contract until 2019.

Setlhare was predeceased by Joseph, Samuel, Isiah and Nthapeleng Mamabolo. She is survived by her sister Martha Mabalane and husband Pax Manguba.

She met Pax Manguba in Johannesburg and after marriage they went on to have 3 children, Rachel (Ouma), Nana and Thompson. She has 3 grandchildren, Thabo, TJ and Bonolo.

She was also a mother to a lot of children that were not her own and instilled her passion for education in them so that they can have a better life. She was a peaceful and loving person adored by many.
