Serina Danyel Catalano - Gardener Earth Soulstress, age 30, took wings to another realm on November 9, 2022. Her energy now dances among the trees, her voice sings with the wind.

Born in the Spring when flowers bloom on April 18, 1992, she is survived by her mother, Teresa Stailey Catalano (Rob); father, John Catalano (Jennifer); brother, Nero Catalano; brother, Nick Catalano (Kellie); and sister, Samantha Schreier (Michael).  As well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She also leaves behind her faithful pup Oshun, and a vast garden of friends from coast to coast.

Serina was a collector of crystals and most at home digging in the earth anywhere she could, but mostly alongside her maternal grandmother Violet Stailey, whom she cared for and learned from throughout her life. With those lessons she started many gardens to help feed others everywhere she traveled. Serina also had an inherent gift of music from her father with a soulful voice, which we will all miss greatly.

Please join us in celebrating Serina at the Metropolis Collective in downtown Mechanicsburg on December 15th at 6pm.  Share your memories, play us a tune, or just sing along.

Guests are invited to contribute seeds for a memorial garden that will be planted in honor of Serina.
