Selma's obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Mrs. Selma Ignatowski, on the 14th of October, 2024. Born on the 15th of January, 1943, she lived a full and vibrant life, touching many with her radiance, kindness, and zest for life.

Her personality was an embodiment of love and care. Selma was a beacon of joy, full of bubbly enthusiasm and fun-loving spirit that was infectious. Generosity was her second nature, leaning on her strong belief in the act of giving. She was a caring soul, often going out of her way to help others, just as she believed Jesus would. This was one of the most important lessons she taught - to love others like Jesus does.

Selma leaves behind a proud legacy  of praying for others that will never be forgotten. These acts of kindness became the cornerstone of the life she led and will continue to inspire everyone who knew her.

We invite family, friends, and others whose lives Selma touched to a Celebration of Life service on November 9, 2024, at 11:00am. The service will take place at 7923 Wise Ave, a location significant and close to Selma's heart.

As we mourn her passing, we also celebrate the remarkable life she led, and keep alive the values she held dear; to love generously, live joyfully, and pray consistently. Selma Ignatowski's memory will remain in our hearts forever.
