Sean's obituary
Sean Michael Clayton, age 22, passed away July 13, 2022. He was a resident of Mohnton, Pennsylvania.
Sean was born in Bryn Mawr to Alan Clayton and Holly Fury. He was a graduate of Pottsgrove High School, and also went to ATC for high performance engine machining and blueprinting. Sean was a car enthusiast and skilled transmission mechanic who loved spending his spare time working on and restoring cars. He would always look at new ways to challenge himself.
He played saxophone and guitar at an early age, and later on was taught trades by his father, Alan, as a woodworker, working on hardwood floors, as well as tile work . He had many talents, such as airbrush work, pinstriping, and recently got into welding and fabrication. He worked as a welder for S & H Truck Bodies in Honey Brook.
Sean was also the comedian at parties, enjoyed skateboarding, working out, concerts, lacrosse, and spending late nights in the shop working on cars having a great time with his brother, Erik.
He had a heart of gold and would do anything for those he cared about. Sean was kind and thoughtful, always putting others before himself; but he also had his own ideas of how to do things, and wasn’t afraid to follow his heart, regardless of what others thought. He was quiet, but had a great sense of humor and wit; when he would share conversation. Sean was a loving son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and boyfriend who will be dearly missed by all his family, friends, his girlfriend, co-workers and everyone that got to know him.
Survived by his father, Alan Clayton; mother, Holly Fury, brother, Erik Clayton; sister, Tammy Mariotti; niece, Alaina DePaul and her mother, Danielle DePaul; aunts, Patricia, Kathy, Jackie and Kelly; cousins, Amber, Leila, Brangwynn and Conan.
In life we loved you dearly, In death, we do the same; it broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone; for part of us went with you, the day God called you home, you left us many memories, your love is still our guide; and though we cannot see you, you are always at our side; our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us, one by one, the chain will link again.
Funeral Service and Interment will be held privately.
