It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sean McIntyre, who left this world on April 15, 2023. Born on November 8, 1950, Sean lived a life dedicated to family, friends, and his community. As we remember Sean, we celebrate the love, laughter, and joy he brought to those who knew him.

Sean is survived by a large and loving family, including his sisters, Bronwyn (Steven) Wilson, Catherine Young, Alison (Stanford) Esparza, Erin (George) Shampine, Laurie Whorton, and Brigid (Edward) Millard. He will be greatly missed by his daughters, Tara Romero-Capenhurst and Melissa McIntyre. In addition, his brother-in-law, David Gregor.

Sean was predeceased by his father, Virgil McIntyre; his mother, MaryEllen McIntyre; his brothers, Patrick, Kevin, and Liam McIntyre; and his sister, Megan Gregor. Their reunion in the next life brings comfort to those who grieve for them all.

One of Sean's great passions was cheering for his beloved San Francisco Giants and 49ers. Win or lose, his loyalty to his favorite sports teams remained unwavering, and many fond memories were created around these shared experiences with family and friends.

In honor of Sean McIntyre's life and legacy, we ask that you hold your loved ones close, share a laugh, and remember the moments that make life truly special. May his memory live on in the love and joy he brought to everyone who knew him.
