Please join us for a memorial service to celebrate the life of our beloved Sean.
Arrive from 2pm, with formalities starting at 3pm.

DRESS CODE
Dress in relaxed coastal or summer smart casual — Sean would want you to be comfortable. Black suits and formal wear are not required, and colour is welcome.

If you wish, please consider bringing a single bloom from your garden to place in the vases on the memory table. Kindly no purchased flowers or bouquets.

PARKING
Please note that parking at the venue is very limited, particularly on beach-friendly days. If you're able, please consider parking further away and enjoying a 10-minute walk in.

Food & drinks will be provided.
RSVPs are being collected for catering purposes only. Please RSVP separately for adults and children.
For adults (and children/teens who will eat adult food) — please RSVP using this event website.
For young children (who will eat from the kids’ menu) — please exclude them from this event RSVP and instead SMS Emma on 0424662017 with the number of young children who will require kids meals.

FRONT BEACH GATHERING — MONDAY SUNRISE
(***TORQUAY PADDLE OUT CANCELLED DUE TO BAD WEATHER***)
Unfortunately there is some wild weather forecast for Thurs/Fri/Sat/Sun so a Sunday Morning paddle out is not appropriate.
Monday morning weather is looking slightly better, so we will gather on Torquay Front Beach at Dawn, directly across the road from Bob Sugar & Frenchy's Icecream. We will gather from 6am to watch the skies and the ocean. Sunrise is at 6:20am — we will sit in a circle and have a minutes silence. We will then plunge our bodies into the fresh ocean for a dip or swim. Seano was always one to get in the water no matter what the weather and he would dive straight in ignoring any hesistation. Let's do this one for Seano!
Anyone is welcome. Please spread the word as I know not everyone will check their emails.
What to bring?
Bring a leaf, a flower or a small amount of folage. Sean loved natives. His favourite colour was yellow.
BYO coffee (a number of coffee shops in town open at 6am).

THE SEANO TORQUAY TOUR
Some very kind snow friends have organised a "Seano Torquay Tour". Walk in Sean's shoes and visit some of his favourite spots while you're in Torquay. Please note the Patagonia store in closed all day Monday (so staff can attend the service).Be sure to locate the illustrated map under the Memories tab. Save & share! Hardcopies also available - send me a text and ill tell you where to pick one up from (Ali, 0401 548 221).

COALCLIFF PADDLE OUT + CELEBRATION OF LIFE PARTY
Friday 13 February at Coalcliff, NSW. Time TBC.
Sean wished for his ashes to be scattered via paddle out at Coalcliff, NSW, as well as at Smiggin Holes, NSW.
The Coalcliff paddle out will take place on 13 February, followed by a celebration of life with live music, dancing and time together. Further details will be shared closer to the date.
Please feel free to attend both gatherings if you are able, and know there is no expectation to do so — we completely understand if you attend just one.
The scattering of ashes at Smiggin Holes will take place later in winter, with details to follow.
A private cremation was held on Thursday 8 January.

ACCOMODATION
We understand accommodation may be limited due to the summer school holidays. If finding suitable accommodation is proving difficult, please reach out to me directly (Ali, 0401548221). I have had different friends kindly offer up their spare bedrooms as well as a local farm property for camping. Please reach out if need be — we don’t want accommodation to be a barrier to you attending. -
