Scott's obituary
Scott Allan Wilson passed away peacefully on July 27, 2021.
Scott leaves behind his wife Anthea, stepchildren Amanda (Daniel & Briar), Belinda (Jordan and Morgan), April, Cody. His niece Heather and Great Nephew Cassian. His sisters Sheryl Ann, Fiona and Amanda. Stepmother Angela. Cousins Kerrie, Krystal and Shane. Predeceased by Father Gerald K. Wilson and Mother Carrol Neville.
Scott had great mechanical aptitude and loved working on cars. He loved car shows.
Beginning with church, Scott loved singing and had a great bass voice. He was in church and school choir, a family trio with his mom and sister Sheryl Ann. Then was in the New Dawn singing group in his high school and college years.
From a young age Scott was energetic, enthusiastic, fun loving and a super sense of humour that showed his engaging smile. Throughout his life, Scott touched many people’s lives and gained many friends. He never lost his quick wit, continued to delight others with his sense of humour right up to the end. He loved it if friends called or stopped by. He was a kind, loving, down to earth person.
For many years in Vernon, BC, Scott was a caregiver for disabled persons. His last 3yrs he worked for the Fort Nelson, BC First Nations Band where he was a Caregiver for the Elders. These Elders really loved Scott as he always went out of his way to help them. He is greatly loved and missed by the Fort Nelson First Nations Band. Scott is deeply missed by his family.
