I worked with Scott for years and am so sad to hear about his passing. I didn’t speak with Scott very often but he was always very kind and respectful. I’m so sad he didn’t get to enjoy a long retirement. My deepest condolences to his family and friends.

Thank you for sharing Scott with us over the years. I began working with him in 2021 and quickly grew to respect his dedication and work ethics. There were many times I would ask questions about work and how to approach a specific situation and he would message me with some tips, then follow up the message with an email detailing his guidance and providing resources I could use. He was a valued mentor in my early days and part of why I am where I am today.
In March 2022, with no prior warning, my (at the time 14 year old) daughter was diagnosed with stage 4 liver failure and Scott was one of the first to reach out. We talked many times over the next two years about the complex thoughts, feelings and emotions that come along side a potentially terminal diagnosis and he was there, checking in along the way as the severity hit end stage just prior to her liver transplant in March 2024. The recovery was so much harder than we were prepared for and it was Scott who helped me see how to set aside my personal "momma bear" feelings and truly listen to what she was saying regarding her wishes for medical care. We talked about you all too, he loved you all so very much. In one of the last messages I have from him he wrote about his love for you and how much he knew you all cared about him.
I know there are no words that can ease the pain of losing Scott and my heart goes out to you. I know how much you all meant to him and how much he meant to you. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.
