Scott David Rae

May 9, 1959 – November 29, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Scott David Rae, who left us peacefully on November 29, 2025, in Negril, Jamaica, at the age of 66.

Born in Toronto, Ontario, Scott was a devoted father, grandfather, and friend. He was known for his kindness, strong work ethic, and sense of humour, and will always be remembered for his ability to light up a room.

He is lovingly remembered by his daughters, Stephanie Knight (James Knight) and Jeannette Haines (Josh Haines); his three cherished grandchildren, Jase Haines, Bennett Knight, and Elena Haines; and his loving siblings, Yyvonne Beattie, John Rae, and Gary Rae (Christine Rae).

Scott found great joy in travel, but Jamaica was home to his heart. It is there that he will be laid to rest.

A private service for close family will be held in Lucea, Jamaica, on March 12, 2026. 

In lieu of flowers, donations in Scott’s memory may be made to support hurricane recovery efforts in Jamaica, such as the Melissa Relief Fund (https://melissarelieffund.com) or the I Support Jamaica Fund (https://www.isupportjamaica.c…) helping families and communities rebuild after Hurricane Melissa.

He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
