Scott's obituary
Scott “Hotrod” Neal took his final joyride to the sky on March 2, 2024 at the tender age of 37. Born February 19, 1987, in Paris, TX, Scott revved through life leaving a trail of laughter everywhere he went. He was known for his adventurous spirit and his love for his family.
Scott's protective nature was matched only by his thrill-seeking heart, and if he wasn't out riding with his motorcycle club of two (himself and Andre), you could catch him 'toking' for fun at the park. Scott was a man who built his life with the same passion and precision as he did his creations – whether it was a new tattoo design or a roaring bonfire that could be spotted from space.
Aubrey "Neil" Parsons (Papa), Zenobia “Tooter” Parsons (Nana), and Mary “G-ma” Bergstrom have now welcomed Scott to the grand bonfire in the sky. Remembered by his mother, Julia Bergstrom; his children Skylar, Tristan, Ashton, Connor, Jenna, Emma, Spencer, Reagan, and Brandon; his four-legged sidekick, Bella; his sisters, Aunt Linda, cousins, best friend Marcus and Heather, and a host of other family members/friends.
He was a man who put family first, love on the line, and always had a joke up his sleeve to keep the smiles coming. He was a member of the Advent Lutheran Church which will host a gathering to celebrate Scott’s life on March 9th, 2024 at 3pm located at 3232 S Cooper St, Arlington, TX 76015. Please join us to share your fondest memory or picture of him with his family just the way he would have wanted. With each memory shared, his story continues—a bold and beautiful mural stretching into eternity.
