Down a road that's calm and peaceful,

Guided by God's loving hand,

He has gone upon a journey

To a distant, brighter land.

And although our hearts are heavy

With sorrow we still bear,

It helps to bring us comfort,

Knowing he is happy there.

Scott Mercer was a beloved son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, nephew, and friend to many.

He'll be remembered fondly for his love of telling stories, his sense of humor and his display of love and affection for those close to him.

Though we may feel that he has left this earth too soon, we know he is up in heaven right now either flying a plane, sailing a boat, or working on a classic car. He is most certainly in fellowship with the Lord Jesus and is rejoicing in his new, heavenly home.

We love you and miss you, Scott (dad, Papa).
